What is your cancellation policy?
A minimum of 24 hours’ notice is required to cancel or reschedule an appointment. Appointments cancelled or rescheduled with less than 24 hours’ notice, including same-day cancellations, will be subject to a $50 late cancellation fee. If you are experiencing symptoms of a contagious illness, please contact us as soon as possible. Exceptions for unexpected illness or emergencies may be considered at the clinic’s discretion. Missed appointments (no-shows) will be charged 50% of the scheduled service fee. Cancellation requests are considered received based on the timestamp of your phone call, voicemail, email, or online cancellation request, not when clinic staff are available to review the message.
Does acupuncture hurt?
Acupuncture needles are very thin, and most people feel little to no pain when they are inserted. You may feel sensations such as tingling, a mild ache/pressure, or heaviness.
What to expect from acupuncture session.
During an acupuncture session, a registered practitioner will insert needles into specific points on the body, which are determined based on the individual’s condition and symptoms. The insertion of the needles is generally not painful, although some people may experience a slight sensation or tingling at the insertion site. Once the needles are in place, they may be gently manipulated by the TCM practitioner. The needles are left in place for a certain period of time, typically around 20 to 30 minutes, while you rest comfortably.
What is your credit card policy?
When booking an appointment, patients will be required to provide a valid credit card to secure their slot. The credit card will be charged only in the event of a late cancellation or no-show, as per our existing cancellation policy, as well as to cover any balance after your Insurance has been processed.
